Don’t you love it when a bad situation helps you find a treasure! Construction fumes flooded my house this morning when I started to work on another painting. Not to be stopped I packed up my paints and went for a wander, landing at Soldier Hollow. I had not gone down to the area around Deer Creek because what was once a favorite hike had been closed to dogs. I usually walk the upper area with my pup. Not only did I get to be reacquainted with these two old friends that had always harbored owls, but I saw a sign that dogs are now allowed above the high water mark. Whoo hooo! A good day! Original 8 x 10 oil is available.
