MINT TIN PAINTINGS

Each original oil painting in the mint tin include the pallet used to create the work. These paintings are created on site in “plien air”. I started using mint tins when I wanted to paint while hiking, canoeing and backpacking. Often wandering many miles before finding the perfect scene to paint, these compact tins allow for a spontaneous work of art on the spot!

Spring Rush Still Water Fork of the Bear

Wilder Lake Backpack

In the High Uinta Wilderness of Utah this gem of a lake was a thrill to paint. When I hike a long ways or backpack keeping the weight of the pack down is essential. The altoid tin painting set up allows me to still paint even when I am several days into a trip. While I painted my friends read books, chased dogs and learned to fish! SOLD

Wasatch Peaks

From Heber Valley along the Provo River one can catch some great views of the back of the Wasatch Mountains. Using mixes of blues and yellows I tried to capture the vivid mid summer greens. Painting, pallet and tin all included for beautiful display.

Bear Lake Turquoise
